God’s Purpose for Israel

Who are the Jewish people?  Why have they been upon the earth since time immemorial? Why have ruthless tyrants and merciless nations attempted to destroy them throughout history?

The reason for the Jewish people is because of God.  He has a chosen purpose for them.  There is a calling, an ability and a corporate gifting upon Israel to fulfill this purpose.

God has a specific purpose for Israel to fulfill in respect to all nations and a purpose for all nations to fulfill in respect to Israel.

What is this purpose?

The purpose of Israel is to bless all people who live on the face of the earth!

It is known that Jewish people way above and beyond their numbers have been of great service to the world. Percentage wise more Jewish people than those of any people group have been nobel prize winners.  Jewish scientists have been world changers.  Penicillin was invented by a Jew, saving millions of lives.  The scientist that changed the way we think about the world was Jewish, Albert Einstein. Abraham the father of the Jewish people was the one man from whom came three of the world’s major religions – Judaism, Christianity and Islam. Through Moses the patriarch of the Jews, the rule of law was given that is the foundational bedrock that governs most nations of the world to this day. Today Israel is a world leader in the development of technology.

But far and away the greatest way Jewish people have blessed the world is by giving the world the word of God and the word of God become flesh: The Messiah. who said, “Salvation is from the Jews”.

If it was not for the Jewish people there would be no bible and there would be no Messiah. Yeshua (the given Hebrew name of Jesus) was born King of the Jews, died King of the Jews and will return to the earth as King of the Jews. All of the apostles were Jews, all of the first disciples were Jews. Faith in the Messiah is a Jewish faith.  The greatest blessing that ever came to mankind came through the Jewish people.
