If you were somehow able to travel back through time to first century Israel and visibly saw the Messiah and called out, “Jesus!”, he would probably not turn around to see who was calling him. Why?  For one,  English was not yet a language and Jesus was not his name!  He was Jewish so of course he had a Hebrew name and the name he was given was Yeshua.
