I have been speaking at Churches all over the world for the past decade and I try to always remember to be sensitive and make sure not to give my listeners any impression that Jewish Believers in Jesus are in any way more important, more loved or more called than they are. There are synagogues on the Upper West Side of Manhattan every few blocks. We attended one of the Synagogues on a recent Sabbath.  It is part of our plan to become as involved and as intimate as possible with the Jewish Community here.  The amazing thing is that the synagogues here (except the Orthodox ones) are so liberal, that they very well might welcome us as Messianic Jews!  They so greatly strive to make sure they are inclusive, egalitarian and champions of social justice that I would be shocked …

SIDETRACKED
I began writing this newsletter in the beginning of September. Like many of you I became fully absorbed and overwhelmed by the profound tragedy that changed all of our lives on September 11th. I am a New Yorker so this really hit close to home. In fact it was in Battery Park, which until Sept 11 was under the shadow of the World Trade Towers, where I prayed for salvation one glorious day 26 years ago.
