Two thousand seven sounds way too futuristic to actually be only days away!  This past year seemed to come and go with such speed that I had no problem understanding the following scripture:
Psalm 39:5 You have made my days a mere handbreadth; the span of my years is as nothing before you. Each man’s life is but a breath.
As the day’s whiz by we need to all the more make sure we are living according to God’s plan.
Psalm 90:12 So teach us to number our days, That we may gain …

The High Holy Holidays went by very fast this year leaving in its’ wake, at least for me, a strong sense of the depth of their meaning. I am always amazed at how the Feasts of the Lord so powerfully speak of the ministry of the Messiah: Past, present and future.  I want to give you a brief overview of some new things I have come to realize concerning the Fall Feasts of Israel.
Rosh Ha Shanna
The meaning of the Feast of Trumpets according to the biblical text has somewhat …

The War in Israel
The war in Israel has occupied much of my attention during August.  I felt this was a time for us to focus on the situation there and embrace our call to be a Royal Priesthood.
1 Peter 2:9 But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the …

I am blessed to be able to say I am “back in the saddle again.”  I have resumed a full schedule only 8 weeks after my heart surgery!  Bless the Lord!  Summer is quickly coming and there is so much to accomplish.  Here is our update.

IMPARTING FAITH, INSPIRING ACTION

I have faith that the Jewish community in New York City is ready to be impacted by the Kingdom of God.  I have been sharing this with Christian businessmen for the past year and a half.  Something has happened.  A group approached …

I feel I have been smack in the middle of a tornado these past two months.  Beginning this winter I was going back and forth to my mom’s home and different hospitals helping to care for her as she fought for her life.  As you know after a long bout with lymphoma, my mom Esther went home to be with Lord at the end of February. As soon as the Shiva period of mourning ended I flew to Florida for a number of previously scheduled speaking engagements.

In Florida with some …

Thanks to all who had been praying for my mom.  She courageously battled lymphoma for 4 years and went home to be with the Lord on Friday, February 24th.  Although I will sorely miss her I am confident I will one day see her again in glory!  It is not every Jewish mother who confesses that Yeshua is the son of the living God.  My mom had a genuine faith that Yeshua died for her sins and rose from the dead.  When it came to her faith my mom was …

Greetings in Yeshua! This is a Gates of Zion update before our next newsletter goes to print:

I recently returned from a Messianic Jewish Rabbis conference in Orlando, Florida.  After speaking with many Messianic Rabbis I realized that there is a great need in almost every congregation for an effective plan and strategy to reach the local Jewish people. I have since been traveling to different Messianic Jewish Congregations to help equip our people in Jewish evangelism.

It also seems clear enough that the majority of Messianic Congregations are too small …

THE GATEWAY
For the second consecutive year the Northeast regional meeting of the Messianic Jewish Alliance took place directly opposite downtown Manhattan across the Hudson River in Jersey City.  From this vantage point one can see both “Ground Zero” and the Statue of Liberty.  It is increasingly becoming more and more evident to Jewish believers that New York City is the most strategic city in the world second in significance to Jerusalem alone.  It cannot be over emphasized that there are more Jewish people living in the New …

To say we are living in exciting times is an understatement!  In humility I am more convinced than ever that our lives are intertwined with history in the making!
Since the 1930’s there has been a burning vision among the saints in China to bring the gospel through the Silk Road to Jerusalem. The body of Messiah in China is growing at a reported rate of twenty thousand new believers every day – the most explosive growth of the body of Messiah in history!  At this rate the Body in …

When you receive this newsletter, Lord willing, we will already be in Kazakhstan.  In the beginning of July our family attended the Messiah 2005 Messianic Jewish Alliance Conference where I taught three sessions on Jewish evangelism.  There is so much to share on this subject and much equipping is needed throughout the body. There were a couple of very powerful messages delivered at the conference which I will share about a little later.  If you would like the CD’s of these sessions, e-mail me and I will let you …
